tinidazole oral increases toxicity of disulfiram oral by inhibiting the metabolism of an enzyme (aldehyde dehydrogenase) needed in the body during alcohol intoxication. Combining alcohol with tinidazole causes abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting, headaches, and flushing.
