tinidazole oral increases toxicity of dronabinol oral by inhibiting the metabolism of an enzyme (aldehyde dehydrogenase) needed in the body during alcohol intoxication. Dronabinol oral solution (Syndros) contains alcohol, which can produce a disulfiram like reaction if coadministered with tinidazole. Discontinue tinidazole at least 14 days before starting dronabinol solution and do not administer tinidazole within 7 days of completing treatment with dronabinol solution.
