Side effects of Exservan and Rilutek that are similar include oral numbness, weakness/lethargy, nausea, vomiting, decreased lung function, stomach/abdominal pain, and dizziness.

Side effects of Exservan that are different from Rilutek include high blood pressure (hypertension), joint pain, dry mouth, insomnia, and itching.

Side effects of Rilutek that are different from Exservan include drowsiness, spinning sensation, diarrhea, constipation, muscle stiffness, headache, lightheadedness, tiredness, loss of appetite, and runny nose.

Tell your doctor all medications and supplements you use. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant while using Rilutek; it is unknown if it will harm a fetus. It is unknown if Rilutek passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding.
