Definition of Hemoglobinuria

Hemoglobinuria: The presence of free hemoglobin in the urine may make the urine look dark. Normally, there is no hemoglobin in the urine. Hemoglobinuria is a sign of a number of abnormal conditions, such as bleeding and paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria.
