Jardiance (empagliflozin) and Invokana (canagliflozin) are anti-diabetes medicines used as adjuncts to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

How Should Jardiance Be Taken?

The recommended dose of Jardiance is 10 mg once daily in the morning, taken with or without food.

How Should Invokana Be Taken?

The recommended starting dose of Invokana is 100 mg once daily, taken before the first meal of the day. Doses may be increased to 300 mg in patients who are able to tolerate Invokana at 100 mg doses.
