Medical Definition of Hypoxia
Hypoxia: A lower-than-normal concentration of oxygen in arterial blood, as opposed to anoxia, a complete lack of blood oxygen. Hypoxia will occur with any interruption of normal respiration.Source: MedTerms™ Medical Dictionary
